3 Sites, Then and Now

 Youtube

Then

This is what a video in youtube would look like in 2005, which apparently back in the day youtube doubled as a dating site.
the youtube code was quite simple back in the 2005 with a shorter script.

 Now

This is what a youtube video look like today with more features such as recommended videos, a subscribe button and with a description except for the dating site feature. The script now is a lot longer then it older version with several more links.

Ebay

Then

Ebay back in 1998 was by the looks of it made out of a simple script a few images and a search bar. The script was a simple and small coding.

Now

Ebay in the current year has changed a lot the front page has more then just a search bar and a few images, now its made out of links and images. the script has change way more and Ebay made their simple script into an amazing script they even wrote their logo out
of code.

Steam

Then

This is what steam 13 years ago looked like. The steam from the past doubled as a merch store and sold only valve created games, and was compiled of a few images links and valve goods. the script was nothing special just a simple script.

Now

this is current day steam which now sales games made by third party developers and no longer sales valve merch on the site but now have a huge library of games. the script also grew a few inches over the years.

E9 final Space Specs

Space Specs

The Product

Was the product my team and I created. I was in charge of the product and the Ad. Those were my two main roles in the project. The process of creating the product was a bit tedious to make, the glasses were based of the 3D glasses and making them was a real pain. this was my favorite part of the project, I am personally really proud of it.

The Ad

The ad was a more basic thing to make, the ad was the easiest i kept it nice and simple. I'm not a huge fan of it but I think it dose the job. Personally I would of prefer it with a 3D look. when i look at it i think of several other rings i could of done with it. this ad is

Questions

1) The scope, I can only assume that the idea for making us do this project is to force interaction with other people. If not to build teamwork skills. The idea of the glasses came up during a brainstorming session, it was Courtney's idea.
2) What I learned, I did learn some teamworking skills such as dealing with others. Technology wise I learned several was to work with photoshop, google sketch up and web building.
3A)Do Different, I don't really know maybe interact more with my team mates. the ad. Why because i never felt connected to my team. i don't like the ad i felt like i put minimal effort.
3B) Do the same, I'd keep the projects assign to me such as the product and the ad. why i enjoyed making them.
3C) Draw from experience, i would get the idea that in the future i will need to make more group projects so might as we'll get over it while i still can.

Logo

Logo
I wanted my logo to be really simple but i think it might be a little too simple. i choses red because the internet describes .Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Red is a very emotionally intense color. which for what i want to do i want to do it with passion and i want it to be intense.

If you can help me add something else please do.

What I have learned is that color is part of everyday life. That every color has a secret meaning behind it. Color has a purpose for everyone.
Red: It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure. It has very high visibility, which is why stop signs, stoplights, and fire equipment are usually painted red.
Green: It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility.
Blue: It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.
Black: power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery.
White: light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity.
Purple: It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition.
Yellow: It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.
Orange: fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
Brown: stability and denotes masculine qualities, harvest and fall.
